If you are serious about building a competitive CR750 motor, then Carrilo con-rods are essential, especially if raising the compression ratio and /or rev ceiling.
Carrillo con-rods have been race developed over the years, and have proven over and over again that when a race engine is being built without compromise, these really are the only choice. Anything less could ultimately cost a lot more! If an inferior rod breaks or bends, this could result in a total engine fright off, with cracked crankcases, bent crankshaft and a whole lot more!
