The standard Honda CB750 clutch is fine when the engine is standard, but once power and torque start to creep up, the clutch will be prone to slipping! Whilst bad enough on a road machine, it is disastrous on a race bike, causing damage to those expensive race standard clutch plates, and of course slowing the bike down.
Over Racing clutch springs are a direct result of development on their championship winning machinery both in Japan and Europe. If you want only the best components for your CR750, then including these Over racing clutch springs during the course of a rebuild, or clutch replacement will prove to be the correct decision.
